Breaking Down Barriers, Building Opportunities
Our mission is to break down barriers and promote health and well-being for African, Caribbean and other ethnic minorities and marginalised groups by providing:
Education & Counselling
Access to safe community spaces for learning and healing
We provide ESOL classes, REACH counselling services, IT skills training, and culturally sensitive support in environments where people feel understood and respected.
Partnership & Advocacy
Working together to amplify community voices
Through multi-agency partnerships and policy advocacy, we ensure diverse communities have a seat at the table and their needs are heard by decision-makers.
Tackling Isolation
Practical support to address social isolation and exclusion
Our transport scheme, community events, and befriending programmes address both isolation (feeling alone) and exclusion (being left out) as distinct challenges requiring different solutions.
Pathways to Inclusion
Volunteering and work experience for social mobility
We create opportunities for volunteering, work placements, and skills training—especially for young people and economic migrants' families who face barriers to education and employment.
